Football Season

Hunter, Peyton and Hagin are playing football again this year.  I love going to their games and watching them sweat!  They're pretty stinky when it's over but I still give them a hug!

Peyton and his homies!  Peyton's team is called the Mustangs.  He's #23
Hunter and Hagin are both the Wildcats (but different teams) and both #20.
 Umm, which one is this?
That would be Hagin!
I'll post pics of Hunter next week.

Hilton Head - Second Week

Oh, how I love our second week at the beach!  ALL the family comes down!  All 20 of us!  This year was so wonderful.  Everyone got along great!  It makes me want to go on more vacations!  We had a stomach virus that wound its way through nearly every one of us but only lasted for about 24 hours each.  Kenny was only a week and a half out of surgery so he was a little incapacitated but other than that it was a marvelous week!  We had our family pictures made on the beach this year and I can hardly wait to get them back so I can post some of those.  I may be a little prejudice but I truly believe I have the most beautiful family in the world!!  I get so busy that I forget to take pictures but enjoy these random photos!
Hagin is such a silly boy...wearing Norah's swim cap!
Norah really did like it, no matter what her expression says
Maggie was all smiles with Olivia and Kenny
 Just fun in the pool!

Hunter is so willing to play with his younger cousins and Owen loves it!
Three umbrellas and lots of chairs make for a great day at the beach
Hunter's creation

Looks like Jackson is making cannonballs!?
Norah and Emma making mud pies
 Cookies anyone??

Peyton's sea monster
 Big Daddy chillin'
What a day at the beach will do to you!

Me and some of my beautiful girls!  We love going to the Old Oyster Factory for dinner.
Yes, I'm counting down the weeks until next years second week at the beach too!!!

I ABSOLUTELY adore my family!!

Happy Birthday Maggie

July 27 was Maggie's very first birthday!  We decided that since we are on our yearly vacation to the beach the week of Maggie's birthday we would celebrate with a party there every year!
Maggie's ready to party in her fabulous party hat that Mary Beth made for her!
 Enjoying her cake
 REALLY enjoying her cake!
 Christi decorated the villa
Mary Beth made games like Pin the Spot on the Ladybug
Big Daddy and I sent Maggie's present to her in Virginia - A new cottage!
I think she likes it!
Maggie is such a sweet little thing.  I really miss having the opportunity to see her grow day to day.  I cherish the times that we do get to spend together.
Happy Birthday to my "Perfect 10"
I love you SO much!

Hilton Head 2012 - First Week

July 21 Michael and I headed to Hilton Head Island for our first week at the beach.  This is definitely one of my favorite times of the year!  Just the two of us all week long!!  I love this man!
Just sitting on the beach for hours.  One of us reading and the other one napping!
Early morning long runs.  Um, I would be on the bike while Michael ran!

That little white spot is Michael running.  I stopped to take a picture of an alligator!
I really needed a pedicure and someone was sweet enough to go with me!
LOTS of yummy food all week!
Not many pictures because we were too busy having fun!  I'm already counting the weeks until next year!

Tri DAC Exhibit

The second event we attended before heading to the beach was for Peyton.  He was selected to participate in a summer camp for gifted young artists.  He is an amazing artist and I keep hoping he will create something for me to display at home!  The camp was for three weeks and each week he created a new piece of art work using a different medium.

What a supportive family Peyton has!  We are all so proud of you and your fabulous talent!

Country Club of Lexington - City Meet

Saturday July 21 Big Daddy and I packed up the car to head to the beach for two weeks but we had a couple of events to attend first!  The first one was for Jackson...This year Jackson has been on the swim team for Lexington's country club.  It has been so much fun to watch him swim.  He has really proved to be a great swimmer!!  His final meet was the city meet at the USC pool!  Wow!  Now that was cool!!

 Getting ready to start.

He's in the green cap in the middle
 Climbing out of the pool
He was second in his heat!  Awesome Jackson!!  I can
hardly wait until next year!

USC Cheerleading Camp

Wednesday, July 18, Maizeigh performed on her last day of camp.  Now this brought back some memories!  Mary Beth and Christi always participated in the USC Cheerleading camp when they were young and loved it!  I think Maizeigh loved it too but she was so afraid of Cocky (she does NOT like dressed up characters) that she just about forgot to cheer!  It was really fun to watch though!

What a pretty little Gamecock!!

PS:  Kenny had surgery on his knee this day too.  I didn't get any pictures but I did take him some goodies and the new college football magazine to help with his recovery!!
