This month is such a special one....

November is the month of Thanksgiving and we are truly thankful that Tim joined our family three years ago.
His birthday was November 12, so I'm just a little late!
Tim is such a blessing. Thank you, Tim, for being the man you are!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY!
We Love You!

Virginia Weekend

Friday, October 30, Michael and I went up to Virginia to visit Joe and Chelsea for the weekend. It was so good to be with them. We got there late Friday evening so we were only able to be with them a couple hours Friday night. Saturday morning, Michael and I got up before daylight and headed to the Chessie Trail, Michael on foot and me on my bike. Michael needed a long run and I went along as the hydration specialist. In other words, I carried his Gatorade on my bike and my back! We did about 19 miles, mostly on the trail. It was so peaceful and beautiful.

View along the trail.

The deer really were not scared of us.

More view
We met some friends along the trail. Part of the trail goes through cow pastures. The cows really weren't scared of us either!

After our run/bike, Joe and Chelsea took us to Luray Caverns. Of course, we had to hit Joe's favorite restaurant first, The Waffle House. The caverns were absolutely awesome! I can not even begin to describe them to you! If you ever get a chance to go, don't pass it up. I kept thinking that Hunter would think it was SO cool. I also thought that the way Tim loves rocks, you probably wouldn't be able to get him out of the place!

On the way back to Buena Vista, we rode along Skyline Drive. Man, what views!!

There were deer everywhere!

Even bucks!! Just look at that rack!!

We stopped at Outback for supper then went to the Lund's to watch the Carolina game.
(Game??? What game?? That's all I have to say about that!)
Sunday we went to church with them, did a little more touring of Buena Vista, then headed home.
Thanks Joe and Chelsea for a fabulous weekend!
We miss having you close by!
We love you!

Junior Gamecock Halloween Party

Thursday, October 29, was the Junior Gamecock Club party at Frankie's Fun Park. The kids really look forward to it every year! We had a great time. Hotdogs, dancing (go Maizeigh!), candy and lots of rides!

Jackson (on the right!) and Cocky racing on the motorcycles.

The giant slide. My camera wasn't doing a good job in the dark. Kenny was holding Maizeigh, and Tim was holding Owen but I think Hunter beat them both down!

The Drop Zone. Michael, Hunter, Kenny, Jackson and Kevin. I could not believe how much Jackson loved this ride! I think he rode it three times and every time he just laughed and laughed! Hunter was so cool, he was raising his hands and not holding on!! It was too scary for me!

Owen getting a ride from Uncle Kenny

Do you think he was happy?!?!

Princess Maizeigh in the only ride she was big enough to ride by herself.
We missed having Peyton, Hagin and Olivia with us. You kids needs to clean up your rooms next time!!!

BOY OR GIRL???

Christi had her doctors appointment today to find out if she is having a boy or a girl.
She comes in with this little gift bag.
It's BLUE.
What the heck does that mean???

Ha, Ha! Look what's inside!!

PINK stuff!!
IT'S A GIRL!!!!!
Owen's going to get a sister!
I can hardly wait to start shopping!!

Big Daddy's Little Buddy

I kept Owen today for a few hours while Christi had a doctors appointment. Michael has so many pairs of running shoes that he has a special rack by the side door where they all get parked. I looked around for Owen's shoes and found that he had parked them right where he felt they belonged! What a good boy!

Boo at the Zoo

Monday night the fam went to Boo at the Zoo. It was a lot of fun!
The weather was perfect. Just right for a light jacket.
We might just have to make it a tradition!
Kenny's little family

Owen thought the field mouse was so funny!

The Frog Princess and Belle

Hunter, Peyton, Hagin and Olivia climbed the rock wall.
They liked it so much that they did it twice!

They all rode the train

Jackson, Maizeigh and Owen got an extra ride on the carousel

The snake skins were really cool

Silly grandchildren!!

The whole gang.
Minus Joe and Chelsea :(

Tap Dogs

Thursday night we went to the first of the Broadway Series at the Koger Center. It was a show called "Tap Dogs". It was 6 guys, just average looking guys, with average looking clothes -- jeans, t-shirts, shorts, boots -- tap dancing! Weird, huh?? They did some pretty unique moves, tapped on steel, wood, sound machines and once even used grinders on steel pipe for affects! It was quite entertaining! Of course, dinner at California Dreamin' before the show was great, too! I can hardly wait for January - they are presenting "The Wizard of Oz"! Cool!
