Turtle Crawl Triathlon

May 19 was the Turtle Crawl Triathlon at Jekyll Island Georgia.  Mary Beth and Christi participated in the sprint and Michael in the Olympic distance.  They are unbelievable!!  It is so much fun to watch them compete, have a blast and feel good about themselves all at the same time!  You won't ever catch me doing a triathlon so I will have to live vicariously through them and be the best cheerleader I can be!

These three individuals are absolutely amazing!  Way to go y'all!!

To top it off, we got to see a rescued turtle returned to the ocean!

4-K Screening

Owen had his 4-K screening on May 24.  He was the last one out because his teacher said he took his time with each task and was very meticulous with his work.  Yes, he is his father's son!  Owen said, "I learned two things and then learned another thing and another thing!  I learned every time!"  Very smart boy!

Maggie and Waffle House

Maggie had her first trip to Waffle House!  Looks like she was really liking it!  But I don't think she's quite ready for an All Star Special!

Maizeigh's Recital Day

I loved getting Maizeigh ready for her recitial!  Thank you so much, Mary Beth, for asking me to do her makeup!  It was so much fun!  It brought back fond memories of getting my own little girls ready!

Catchin' Up!

Okay, so I've done it again.  The next bunch of posts will be of the last six months. "Catchin' Up".   My camera had been broken so I don't have lots of pictures.  Most were take with my phone.  Enjoy!!!  

Recitals

May 26 was Olivia and Maizeigh's dance recitals.  Olivia takes dance at Suzanne's dance studio and Maizeigh takes dance at Southern Strut.  Maizeigh's recital was at 11 am and Olivia's at 2pm.  It made for a full and fun day of dance!!  I love watching my grandchildren participate in activities!   Maizeigh was cute as a button in her costume!  She was a little overwhelmed in her first number on stage, the Koger Center must have been quite daunting to a 3 year old!  But she warmed right up to it on her second number.  She danced so beautifully!  Overall the recital was very well done and very entertaining.  We left the Koger Center with under 30 minutes to make it to Lexington by 2.  We made it to Pleasant Hill Middle School before Olivia went on stage.  Yeah!  Of course Olivia was the star of her dance class!  I loved her "Congo" outfit but didn't get a picture of her in it.  Aren't they just beautiful! 

I sure do love these little girls and they are so stinkin" cute!!
