Parris Island Triathlon

Saturday March 17 was the Parris Island Triathlon in Beaufort, SC.  Michael, Jessica, Christi and Mary Beth participated.  It was the first tri of the season for them.  They were all pretty stoked and did an amazing job as usual!

Strawberry Time!

Michael and I went at lunchtime to pick Strawberries with Christi and Mary Beth.  It has become an annual event!  The kids think it's a hoot cause they can pick and eat at the same time!

Jackson's Karate Tournament

Jackson had his first ever karate tournament in March.  It was so fun to watch.  It was a little nerve racking though.  In lessons I know the teacher and students don't really want to hurt him but in the tournament all I could think of was "Karate Kid".  I just kept thinking don't you even try to hurt my grandson cause I'll kick your trash!!  At one point he had to spar with a girl, she started to cry so Jackson stopped and wouldn't fight with her anymore.  What a gentleman!  He did an amazing job and I'm very proud of him!

Norah's First Birthday

Norah Raye turned one on April 4th!  I seriously LOVE this little girl!  She is so sweet and cuddly with all her little rolls!  She is so happy and loving.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!
I love you so much my little Norah Love!

Easter

Alright, so all the pictures are of Maggie.  Well, it's the first Easter that Joe and Chelsea have been with us and Maggie's first Easter!  That's my excuse anyways!!  Isn't she gorgeous?!  (The others in the photos are quite nice too!)

Toy Story on Ice

April 12th I had such fun taking the kids to Toy Story on Ice!  We had a great view with our front row seats!

Knee Surgery

I had knee surgery, meniscus repair, on Wednesday, April 25th.  It was a long day but everything went well.   My sweet Kenny was waiting for us at the surgery center with the new Mary Higgins Clark book for me to help speed up my recovery! Mary Beth, Maizeigh and Norah came up to wish me well too.  I felt so loved!  I had the absolute best caregivers ever!  When I got home I had three fabulous nurses - Michael, Christi and Mary Beth.  They took such good care of me.  Jackson came and read to me and Maizeigh helped take care of me too!  Christi chauffeured me around until I could drive.  Sweet friends and family brought over food along with many well wishes.  I am truly blessed with such loving friends and family.
These "Heart Attacks" were waiting for me when I got home.  Thank you Kenny, Jessica, Hunter, Peyton, Hagin and Olivia!
