Hunter helping Owen slide. Hunter is such a wonderful helper.

Big Daddy pushing Olivia and Peyton pushing Hagin.
I think there was a little competition to see who could go the highest.

Tim grilled some great hotdogs.

Owen loved opening his gifts!

Hunter and Peyton's Birthday Party

Saturday, February 27, we celebrated Hunter and Peyton's birthday with a party at the Robertson's.
Hunter and Peyton are so dang cute!

Jessica made Hunter an alligator head cake and
Peyton an astronaut cake

Big Daddy and I gave them each a DSi.
We think they liked them!

Joe surprised us by coming home for the weekend!
We love Joe so much and really miss him.
He was able to go to the party and see Emma!!
(We love Chelsea, too and missed her but she had a shower
for her sister in law who's having a baby in April)

HAPPY BIRTHDAY AGAIN BOYS!!

Emma Jewell Noelani Mayo

Our sweet, little, precious Emma is finally here!
She was born on Tuesday, February 23 at 1:05pm
She weighed in at 6 pounds 14 ounces
Tim, Mary Beth and I played Phase 10 with Christi to pass the time

Oh, how sweet is this?!?
Great job, Christi!

Big Daddy and I think she is just perfect!

Owen wasn't quite sure what he thought at first.
But he sure does love her now!

Jessica clocked in just to take care of Emma.
She gave her a bath and did all the other "new baby" stuff for her.
Thanks Jessica!
Humm, not sure how Emma's feeling about one of the girlfriends!
Thanks Lauralan for taking care of Owen while we were at the hospital.

I changed Emma's clothes for her to go home.

Wow, she is so beautiful! I can't wait to spoil her rotten!!
We love you Emma! Happy Birthday!

Maizeigh and Ice Cream

Maizeigh just couldn't quite figure out how to get enough ice cream into her mouth!

(Notice how she shakes her head "yes" when the waitress asks if anyone wants coffee! She doesn't even know what coffee is, but she wants some!!)

She's a trip!!

Myrtle Beach Marathon

For those who have read Mary Beth's blog you have already seen very similar pictures but I am behind on my posting and needed to catch up!! So here goes....
February 12 and 13 was the Myrtle Beach 5K and Marathon.
You may remember that was our big snow weekend in South Carolina!
We headed to Myrtle Beach Thursday evening, arriving in time to go to bed!
Friday morning we went to the expo to pick up packets and then Mary Beth and I went to the Tanger Outlets to exchange a few things and do just a little shopping! Really, just a little!

We brought the guys (and Maizeigh) back milkshakes. I think Maizeigh really liked hers!
We went over to Broadway at the Beach for the start of the 5K. Just about the time we got out of the car, the snow started falling. And I do mean falling! It was crazy! I told Mary Beth since it was so cold she needed to run really fast so we wouldn't have to be out in it so long. Thank you, Mary Beth, for listening to your mom! Not only did she run fast but she set a new PR!! You go girl!
(I have no finish line photos because Michael backed into a car while leaving the parking lot and we had to wait around for the owner to show up. No damage to my car (thank goodness for big cars!) Just a little damage to the other car.)

We took Mary Beth to a nice Italian restuarant to celebrate and for Michael to carbo load for the next days race.
At 10:30 pm we found out that the marathon was canceled. POOH!

This is Saturday mornings view from the screened in porch of our condo.
Of course, true runners don't let a little snow and ice stop them.
Michael and Mike headed out about 9 am with their support crew close behind.

I have been to Myrtle Beach hundreds of times and not once have I ever seen snow on the beach!
Crazy!!

At mile 5, where Team Whetstone (plus Brenda) waited to give Gatorade and Gu to the runners, there was a place offering helicopter rides. So I treated Jackson and Kevin to a ride over the beach. Jackson was so excited.

Team Whetstone plus Brenda, Hayden and Luke. Wait, where is Luke?
Oh, he's in the car playing with his DSi!! We've got to teach him how to cheer!!

The finish line. Thanks to the folks who stayed around to hand out metals to all the runners who ran even in the snow!

It makes for a pretty long day for the kids during these races so we treated them to the Dixie Stampede for supper. They liked the horses before the show.
Of course, Maizeigh liked the pretty girls sparkly dresses!!
We had a great time! Thanks everybody!
