Happy Birthday My Friend

Today is one of my bestest friends birthday. As Jeanne Robertson says, there are friends and there are best friends and then there are bestest friends! She is working tonight instead of celebrating. But that's Libbi - a wonderful, dedicated nurse! I have never known another person who can go for hours on end with no sleep and still be there for anyone who needs her. Just amazing! That's you, Libbi! Amazing!!
I love you girlfriend!

This Month Is Such A Special One, It's Birthday Time For You

Wednesday was Christi's 29th Birthday! My, my, how time flies!! I remember the day she was born like it was yesterday. I was SO glad it was a girl!! And she was SO beautiful and she still is! Christi is my little jack of all trades. She can do pretty much anything she puts her mind to. She can sing, dance, cook, sew, decorate, take fabulous photos, and the list goes on and on! She is always so supportive of her family. We can always count on Christi to be where ever we are taking pictures! She has always been very sensitive. If you just said her name wrong she would start to cry! (Hum, have you noticed Owen does the same thing? Must be hereditary!)
I LOVE my Christi Girl!

That little red nose, just like Owen.

How sweet is that?!

She always was a little fireball. She made a really good Pippi Longstocking! She didn't even have to "act" much!

"Christina Stinkerina Ballerina"
Yep, that was her nickname!

I think she wore braces for like 10 years!!

Wasn't she a cutie as Jessie at Disneyworld?
How fun is that?!
I couldn't find any high school pictures (she probably wouldn't like me posting them anyways!)
This was after college.

Then came Tim and Owen!!
This is probably my all time favorite picture of Christi. Isn't she absolutely gorgeous?!! Everyone says she looks just like me.....I only dream I could look half that good!
Happy Birthday sweetheart!
I am so thankful that you came to our family!
We love you so much!

Tour de Camden

This morning Michael, Mary Beth and I took our bikes to Camden for the Tour de Camden. Michael rode the 50 mile course while Mary Beth and I rode the 12 + miles. After a misguided start (that's a story for another day), Mary Beth and I enjoyed the ride all by ourselves through a scenic tour of Camden. We saw some incredible houses, talked alot and had a fabulous ride!

Mary Beth, Michael and Me

Mary Beth and I passed this school and thought Jackson would think it was a hoot!! I'm glad I had my camera in my pouch.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY KEVIN

October 10 was Kevin's birthday. I couldn't ask for a better husband for Mary Beth and father to my two grandchildren. I am so thankful that our prayers were answered and Kevin joined our family almost six years ago. He has truly been a blessing!
Happy Birthday Kevin!
We love you very much!!

Walking With Dinosaurs

Wednesday, October 7, Michael took Kenny, Hunter, Peyon, Hagin, Kevin, Jackson, Pete and Conner (a good friend and his son) to Walking With Dinosaurs at the Colonial Center.

It looks scary to me but the boys didn't get scared at all!! Must be a guy thing!

An amazing General Conference

Michael and I decided back in March that the prize for the winner of our family "beach competition" would receive a trip to Salt Lake City for General Conference. I, of course, said that I needed to go as well! Kevin and Mary Beth were this year's winners. We told them that we did not expect them to stay with us at all times. This was their trip! Their flights were at different times and their hotel room was on a different floor than ours!! However, we did enjoy sightseeing, a temple session, a fabulous dinner and conference with them.

The Temple and Temple Square are just beautiful!

This was our view from our table at "The Roof" Restaurant on the top of the Joseph Smith Memorial Building. If you look in the top right corner you can see our waiter's reflection in the glass! What a marvelous time it was to be in such a gorgeous place, eating fabulous food, listening to beautiful music, eating fabulous food, having a breath-taking view, eating fabulous food......you get the picture!!

This is an amazing statue. The spirit is so strong as you listen to the voice of the Lord and gaze at His face.

Here we are in the Conference Center. Conference was so powerful! I don't think it was just because we were actually sitting in the conference center either!
Thanks for putting up with us for four days!
This was truly an amazing visit. We have been to Salt Lake City before but have never had such a spiritual experience. My eyes hurt by Sunday night from crying every day. We were blessed by quite a few unique opportunities. Several people went above and beyond their "callings" to make sure that our experience was outstanding and one that we will NEVER forget.

Happy Birthday, Hagin and Olivia

I am so far behind on my posting but I will try to do a little catching up!
First of all, I need to go back to September.....
Hagin and Olivia celebrated their birthdays with a party at their Papa and Grandma's (AKA: Bonnie and Richard) house. We roasted hotdogs and ate cake and ice cream!
Olivia is certainly the "Belle" of the ball! Big Daddy and I gave her a Belle outfit, complete with shoes, earrings and tiara! I think she liked them. She told me she wanted to wear them every day but her momma won't let her! She is such a sweet thing! She loves to pose for a picture and her giggle makes me laugh everytime!

Oh, Hagy-Poo!! What can I say about Hagin??!! He makes a room spin just by entering it! He certainly can be a fire-ball but you can hardly get mad at him because he's so stinkin' cute!!

I love these two children so much! They make my world a better place!!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY, HAGIN AND OLIVIA!!
